Engine and Transmission Temperature Gauge
Engine and Transmission Temperature Gauge
Overheating can permanently damage your engine and transmission
Standard temperature indicators on vehicles sometimes provide engine temperature information. But if you’re focused on driving, you may miss the temperature going into the RED until it is too late and your engine is damaged.
Most vehicles do not provide any warning at all of damaging transmission temperatures. If you are 4WD’ing or towing a caravan, boat, trailer etc, your transmission and engine will be working hard, increasing the temperature. The temperature of the transmission can also become excessive during highspeed highway driving.
The Engine and Transmission Temperature Gauge monitors and provides early warning of overheating with a visual and audible temperature alarm you can set.
The gauge kit includes;
- 52mm (2 inch) gauge suitable for standard vehicle gauge housings and pods.
- Two digital temperature sensors which bolt onto the engine block and transmission housing. The temperature range for each sensor is -25°C to +125°C (-13°F to +257°F).
- Cables and mounting hardware for 12 volt vehicles (longer cables to suit particular vehicles and 24 volt options available).
