Screw In Engine and Transmission Temperature Sensors

Gauge Innovations screw in sensors are an alternative for customers who want:

• to replace the existing engine and transmission temperature sensors on their vehicle and use our sensors with one of our temperature gauge models
• an immersion type temperature sensor for fluids such as coolant or oil

Please contact us if you are interested in this alternative sensor. In most cases a bolt-on sensor can be replaced by a screw-in sensor at no extra cost.

The screw in sensor is a brass 50K NTC type with a 1/8" NPT thread.  

The 2 screw-in sensor kit includes

• screw in temperature sensors for both engine and transmission. 
• Under the bonnet junction box. The new junction box makes it possible for customers to leave their existing bolt-on temperature sensors installed.  The existing gauge firewall cable can be moved and plugged into the new junction box. Note that a "factory reset" is required so the gauge recognises the new sensors.
