Overheating can permanently damage your differentials or transfer caseMonitor front/rear differential and transfer case temperatures to give early warning of overheating with visual and audible alarms you can set. |
|
Most vehicles do not have an indicator showing front and rear differential or transfer case temperatures. If you are 4WD’ing or towing a caravan, boat, trailer etc, your differentials and transfer case will be working hard, increasing the temperature. The temperature of the differentials and transfer case can also become excessive during high speed highway driving. If you are not aware of your actual differentials and transfer case temperatures, you have no way of knowing whether they are being damaged by excessive heating. This gauge allows you to monitor and set alarms for the front and rear differential and transfer case temperatures during all driving conditions. The gauge uses digital technology and has a full colour screen to display temperatures settings and alarms. The front and rear differential and transfer case temperature sensors are digital. |
The gauge kit includes;
- 52mm (2 inch) gauge suitable for standard vehicle gauge housings and pods.
- Three digital temperature sensors which bolt onto the front and rear differential and transfer case housing. The temperature range for each sensor is -25°C to +125°C (-13°F to +257°F).
- Gauge to connection box firewall cable 2.5m
- Differential sensor cables 5m
- Transfer case sensor cable 3m
- Cables and mounting hardware for 12 volt vehicles (longer cables to suit particular vehicles and 24 volt options available).
